LiDAR and aerial photography near Timmins in 2014

Aerial LiDAR surveys and photographs made in 2014, over a mine near Timmins, Ontario. The surveys covered an area of approximately 20 km2. The LiDAR data for these surveys have a vertical accuracy of 5-10 cm in elevation with a point density of 3 to 5 pts / m2  and a pixel size pictures of 8 cm / pixel. These surveys have generated a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and an orthophoto mosaic that are commonly used by the mine’s employees.
