LiDar in Lac-St-Jean in 2014

LiDAR surveys conducted in 2014 on the surroundings of Lake St-Jean and a few rivers spilling into it. The surveys covered an area of over 300 km2. The vertical accuracy of the LiDAR data required for the project was less than 5cm in elevation, which was achieved successfully with our low-altitude LiDAR equipment installed on a helicopter. These surveys have generated a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) with a very high vertical accuracy, allowing a follow up on the study of the state of the Lake St-Jean shores.
