LiDAR surveys and aerial photographs made in 2011, with a low-altitude system installed on a helicopter. The surveys were carried out on 210 linear km of road and covered an area of over 550 km2. The vertical accuracy of the LiDAR data was 5-10 cm in elevation with a density of point 2 3pt / m2 and the pixel size of the aerial photographs was 20cm / pixel. These surveys have generated Digital Elevation Models and an orthophoto mosaic that are used by the Ministry of Transport as part of their planning and maintenance functions of Highway 389.
